Resolution No. 2025-R0293 Amendment 2 To Agreement Between The City of Lubbock, TX And HDR Engineering, Inc. THIS IS THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT dated and entered into on the 14th day of February, 2023, Contract No. 17087, by and between the City of Lubbock ("City") and HDR Engineering, Inc. ("Engineer"), collectively (the "Parties"). Engineer is providing professional services for the reconstruction of Milwaukee Avenue from 4'h Street to the City of Lubbock city limits (the "Activities"). The Parties executed a six-month time extension for the performance of the Activities on November 16, 2023. Amendment No. 1 was executed by the Parties to include additional roadway design services on August 13, 2024. The Parties now agree to an additional scope of services, time extension, and additional fees, in part to keep the Engineer retained, as the City awaits a third party to relocate utilities ahead of reconstruction. NOW THEREFORE, the Parties enter into this amendment and agree as follows: The additional services to be performed by the Engineer are as described and set forth in "Exhibit A", attached hereto and incorporated herein. Further, the additional services herein shall be completed for an amount not to exceed fifty-eight thousand dollars and 001100 ($58,000.00) as set forth in "Exhibit B", attached hereto and incorporated herein. An additional six (6) months shall be added to the term for the Engineer to complete the services herein agreed. All other terms of the Agreement and prior Amendment remain the same and are not altered herein. IN WITNESS HEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement as of this 24th day of June 2025. Upon acceptance of a design alternative, HDR will revise the models, plans, specifications, and estimates for the 100% milestone to reflect the updated project end limits. These updates shall consist of the following scope of work: • Update index of sheets. • Update quantity summary sheets. • Update typical sections • Update roadway 3D model • Update drainage models • Update drainage memo • Update drainage area maps for existing and proposed improvements • Update internal drainage maps for internal drainage system • Update plan & profile sheets for proposed ditches • Update plan & profile sheets for the new roadway end limit. • Update removal sheets for the new roadway end limit. • Update TCP plan sheets for the new roadway end limit. • Update SW3P plan sheets for the new roadway end limit. • Update Signing and Striping plan sheets for the new roadway end limit. • Update hydrologic and hydraulic data sheets for existing and proposed systems. • Develop Cross Sections every 50 feet along the stationing. The cross section will extend from right of way to right of way and will show existing surface, proposed surface, curbs, retaining walls (where needed), and pavement section. • Develop opinion of probable construction cost • Perform a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) review prior to each submittal to the City. E City of Lubbock � Milwaukee Ave. F2econstruction �� Scope of Services Exhibit B Milwaukee Ave. Reconstruction Budget CITY and ENGINEER have established a fee of $58,000 to complete the scope of services for Contract Amendment 002, as shown below by task. This amount will supplement the Contract Fee for an amended not-to-exceed of $1,594,002 Milwaukee End Limit , Total 3 ENGINEER agrees to complete these services as delineated above. Should a change in Scope of Services or Time of PerFormance be necessary, an amendment to this contract shall be negotiated at that time. The following table summarizes the fee estimated to be required to complete the above scope of services.
