AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF
LUBBOCK AS TO CHANGE A TRACT OF LAND OUT OF SECTICN 20 , BLOCK AJ
CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS., FROM EIRE ZONE NO. 2 TO
FIRE ZONE NO. 3; DIRECTING THE BUILDING INSPECTION ADMINISTRATOR
TO INDICATE SUCH CHANGE ON THE OFFICIAL FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CIT
OF LUBBOCK:
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that consideration of the property involved
the adjoining property and the safety and v.elfare of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock requires an immediate change in fire zone; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Fire Zone Map of the City of Lubbock BE and is
hereby amended to change the following tract of land from Fire Zone No. 2 to
Fire Zone No. 3:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Block A, Section 20;
THENCE North along the West boundary of Section 20 a dis-
tance of 60 feet;
THENCE East parallel with the South boundary of Section 20
a distance of 770 feet to the true point or place of beginning;
THENCE North 56 5 feet;
THENCE East 45 feet;
THENCE North 185 feet;
THENCE East 48 feet;
THENCE North 147. 5 feet to a point on the North boundary
of Lot 1~ Block 5, Westhaven Addition, said point being 7
feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot 1, Block 5,
Westhaven Addition;

1 THENCE West along the North side of said right ... of .. way
a distance of 550, feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. THAT the Secretary of the Planning and Zoning Commission
shall notify the Building Inspection official of the change above and the Building
Inspection official is hereby authorized and directed to change the official Fire
Zone Map of the City of Lubbock in accordance herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
