HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance - 2025-O0022 - Budget Ordinance Amendment 14, General Facilities Capital Project Fund - 02/11/2025First Reading January 28, 2025 Item No. 6.5 Second Reading February 11, 2025 Item No. 5.2 ORDINANCE NO. 2025-00022 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FY 2024-25 BUDGET FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES RESPECTING THE GENERAL FACILITIES CAPITAL PROJECT FUND IN CONNECTION WITH RESOLUTION NO. 2024-RO582 FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR FILING; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE WHEREAS, Section 102.010 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas authorizes the City Council to make changes in the budget for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Budget Ordinance the City Council shall approve all transfers between funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it advisable to change the FY 2024-25 Budget for municipal purposes and reallocate funds as follows; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, THAT: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Lubbock hereby approves changes to the City of Lubbock Budget FY 2024-25 (Budget Amendment # 14) for municipal purposes, as follows: I. Accept and appropriate revenue in the amount of $450,000 for the General Facilities Capital Project Fund from MCCi LLC and Diada LLC per the settlement agreement. II. Amend Capital Improvement Project (CIP) 8665, Document Management System, and appropriate $450,000, from $215,000 to $665,000. Funding will be revenue from MCCi LLC and Diada LLC per the settlement agreement. SECTION 2. A copy of the changes made to the City of Lubbock Budget pursuant to this Ordinance shall be filed with the City Secretary and County Clerk of Lubbock as required by law. SECTION 3. Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
