WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the storm water storage and drain- age easement as hereinafter described in the body of this Ordinance are no . longer needed for public use and it would be in the public interest to close, · vacate and abandon the same; NOW THEREFORE: • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT those portions of the storm water storage and drainage easement as hereinafter described shall BE and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned for easement purposes and for public use, and being more particularly described as follows: An 8.119 acre tract of land located in Section 11, Block E-2, and recorded in Volume 3209, Page 1 of the Deed Records of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point which bears N. 00°02 1 46 11 East, a distance of 564.60 feet and N. 00°59 1 40" E., a distance of 308.55 feet from the Southwest corner of Section 11, Block E-2, Lubbock, County, Texas; THENCE N. 00°02 1 46 11 E. a distance of 40.00 feet; THENCE N. 89°50 1 40 11 E. a distance of 41.72 feet; THENCE N. 44°59 1 40" E. a distance of 307.02 feet; THENCE N. 89°12 1 24" E. a distance of 443.19 feet; THENCE Northeasterly around a curve to the right, said curve have a radius of 111.95 feet, a central angle of 05°00 1 16", tangent lengths of 4.89 feet, and a chord distance of 9.78 feet to a point of tangency; THENCE N. 40°01 1 10" E. a distance of 337.69 feet; THENCE N. 89°50 1 40" E. a distance of 41.78 feet; ., 'VOL3367 PAGE25J THENCE N. 00·02 1 46" E. a distance of 30.00 feet; THENCE N. 89°59 1 40 11 E. a distance of 275.00 feet; THENCE S. 00·02 1 46" W. a distance of 674.12 feet; THENCE S. 89°59 1 40" W. a distance of 403.44 feet; THENCE Northwesterly around a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 457.32 feet, a central angle of 20°41 1 14", tangent lengths of 83.47 feet, and a chord distance of 164.22 feet to a point of tangency; THENCE N. 34°33 1 52" W. a distance of 121.75 feet to a point of curva- ture; THENCE Northwesterly around a curve to the right, said curve having a radius of 111.95 feet, a central angle of 32°40 1 45", tangent lengths of 32.82 feet, and a chord distance of 62.99 feet; THENCE S. 79•44 1 40" W. a distance of 60.42 feet; THENCE N. 87°25 1 36" W. a distance of 345.16 feet; THENCE S. 46°59 1 40" W. a distance of 293.34 feet; THENCE S. 89•59 1 40" W. a distance of 63.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGIN- NING. SECTION 2. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to mark the official maps of the City of Lubbock to indicate said abandoning and closing, showing the number of this Ordinance and the date of its final pas- sage. SECTION 3.
