THAT the street portions as hereinafter described shall BE and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned for street purposes and fqr public use, and being further described as follows: ! A portion of 56th Street located in Section 28, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas, being further described as follows: BEGINNING at a point of curvature which bears S. 00°00 1 30" W., a distance of 1899.61 feet and S. 89°59' East, a distance of 55.00 feet from the Northwest corner of Section 28, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE Southeasterly around a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, a central angle of 89°59'30", tangent lengths of 15.00 feet and a chord distance of 21.21 feet; THENCE·S. 89°59' E. a distance of 396.69 feet to a point of curvature; THENCE Northeasterly around a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 656.89 feet, a central angle of 15°00'30", tangent lengths of 86.53 feet and a chord distance of 171.58 feet. THENCE N. 75°00'30" E. a distance of 10.63 feet to a point of curvature; < VOL 4121PAGE 10 THENCE Northeasterly around a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, a central angle of 90°, tangent lengths of 15.00 feet and a chord distance of 21.21 feet; THENCE N. 75°00 1 3011 E. a distance of 37.50 feet; THENCE S. 14°59'30" E. a distance of 105.00 feet; THENCE S. 75°00 1 30" E. a distance of 37.50 feet; THENCE Northwesterly around a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, a central angle of 90°, tangent lengths of 15.00 feet and a chord distance a 21.21 feet; THENCE S. 75°00'3011 W. a distance of 10.63 feet to a point of curvature; THENCE Southwesterly around a curve to the right, said curve hav- ing a radius of 731.89 feet, a central angle of 15°00 1 3011 , tangent lengths of 96.41 feet and a chord distance of 191.17 feet; THENCE N. 89°59' W. a distance of 396.69 feet to a point to curvature; THENCE Southwesterly around a curve to the left, said curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, a central angel of 90°00 1 30 11 , tangent lengths of 15.00 feet and a chord distance of 21.21 feet; THENCE N. 00°00'30 11 E. a distance of 105.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to mark the official maps of the City of Lubbock to indicate said abandoning and closing, showing the number of this Ordinance and the date of its final passage. SECTION 3. THAT should any section, paragraph, sentence, phrase, clause or word of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any rea- son, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby. - 2 - .
