RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute a
FY 2018 Federal 'Transit Administration Section 5339(b) Grant, for the purchase of six 35-
foot replacement buses for the City of Lubbock, by and through Citibus. Said Grant is attached
hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in
the minutes of the COunCil.

$2,500,000 in federal funds that will be matched with transportation development credits(TDCs) provided by the Texas Department
of Transportation in the amount of 500,000.This grant request is within the acceptable limits of the fleet ration which is shown in the
Fleet Details of the Recipient ID section. (Discretionary funding award#D2018-BUSC-2211 Attached documents:TXDOT TDC minute
letter, and TIP (see bottom of pg.4).

The 500,000 of local match will be provided by the TxDOT in the from of Transportation Development Credits(TDCs)
The Gillig buses will be 12 year useful life buses.
Fixed Route Fleet-78 total with a spare ration of 15.38%.
Paratransit Fleet-33 total with a spare ratio of 39.13%.
This Application for Section 5339(b) Federal Assistance is allocated to the City of Lubbock-Citibus.Attached to this application is the FY
2018-2022 STIP approval signed by FTA and FHWA which describes the FY 2018 funds being used in this grant.

awarded$2,500,000 in federal funds that will be matched with transportation development credits(TDCs) provided by the Texas
Department of Transportation in the amount of 500,000 This grant request is within the acceptable limits of the fleet ration which is
shown in the Fleet Details of the Recipient ID section.
Match:

Lubbock will provide$210,230 in local funding to complete the purchase..
The Gillig buses will be 12 year useful life buses.
