TEXAS FROM AN 11R ... 2" AND "C ... 2A" TO A 11C-311 ZONING DISTRICT· SUBJECT , ,
TO CONDITION; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
een duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendatio ,
which was received by the City Council and, after due consideration, the City
Council finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the
public interest; and,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to
he Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving
notices in compliance with Section.20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pro
vided by Article l0llf, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1961, and
notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fif ...
een (15} days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on sue
proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held
in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, at
which time persons appeared in_JJ-'l\l>port of the proposal; and, after said hearing, i
was by the City Council determiliefi that it wol.lld be in the public interest, due to
changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in
he manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance
having been introduced prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and
he same are hereby amended as follows, to .. wit:

Change Lots 21 and 22, Block 16, O 1Neall Terrace Annex Addition, City
of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an 118 ... 2 11 and 11C-2A11 to a

SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION:
A six foot (6 1) high .per.m~t.f¥:pet s'.g~ie screening fence be erected
and permanently maintained along the West property line. Said fence
to be constructed prior to or concurrently with the first building per~
mit and shall comply with Section 15. 1 ... 2-2 of the Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinanc ,
said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed
o the Zoning District indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance
erewith.
SECTION 3. Should any paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of
his Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid for any reason, the remainde
f this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby.
SECTION 4. THAT the City Secretary is hereby authorized to cause publica ...
