AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO,_ 1695 AND THE OFFl-
€iIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING
CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 1424: CHANGE THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROP-
ERTIES FROM THEIR PRESENT CLASSIFICATIONS TO AN 11AM11 ZONING DISTRI
WHEREAS,. the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation
which was received by the City Council and after due consideration, the City Counc ·
finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public
interest; and.,
WHEREAS.,, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with., as well as giving
notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 169 5 as well as notices
provided by Article l0llf., Vernonts Annotated Civil Statutes., amended in 19 61.,
and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than
fifteen ( 15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on
such proposed amendment., and the public hearing according to said notice was duly
held in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall.e Lubbock, Texas.,,
at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and., after said J::e aring.,
it was by the City Council determined that it would be in the public interest., due to
changed conditions., that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in
the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance
having been introduced prior to first reading hereof; NOW.,, THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and
the same are hereby amended as follows., to-wit:

Change Fillmore Addition., Westwood Drive Addition., Mast Subdivision.,
Anderson Subdivision, s. G. Brown Subdivision, Lamb Subdivision., Hord.-
Buchanan Subdivision., R. J. Brock Subdivision., J. H. Webb Subdivision,
Jim Floyd Addition., A. E. Coffman Subdivision, Williams Subdivision,
Agnew-Kendrick Additiont Warren-Wallace Subdivision, Casey Subdivision.,
all additions to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,. Texas;
Lots 1 through 9,. Eubanks-Fort Addition; Lots 1-9., Block 1., Park
Manor Addition; Lots 1 through 5., Block 1 and Lots 1 through 5, Block 3.,
Vickers Resubdivision; Lots 8 through 12., Cannon Resubdivision; Lots 7
through 14.,, Block 1 and all of Block 2,. Murphy Place Addition; Lots 9
through 12, Block 1 and all of Block 2., Reeder Subdivision; Lots 7 through

and change the following described property to 11AM11 Zoning Districts,
to-wit:
The 901 '! wide unplatted lot adjacent to Lot 8., Hord-Buchanan
Subdivision., City of Lubbock., Lubbock County,. Texas;
The 67. 51 ± wide unplatted lot adjacent of Lot 15,. Agnew-Kendrick
Addition, City of Lubbock,. Lubbock County,. Texas;
The 105t ± wide unplatted lot between Lot 1 and Lot 6., Ashley
Subdivision., City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,. Texas;
The 501 :!:" wide unplatted lot between Lot 2 and Lot 3, Charles Addition,
Cityof Lubbock., Lubbock County., Texas;
The unplatted tract of land bounded on the west by Louisville Avenue,. on
the north by 19th Street., on the east by Knoxville Avenue., and on the south
by 21st Street (Methodist Hospital Site).
All property in the area bounded on the north by 19th Street; on the east by
Knoxville Avenue; on the South by the alley between 22nd Place and 23rd
Street from Knoxville Avenue to Memphis Avenue; by the alley between 24th
and 25th Streets from Memphis Avenue to the west line of Lot 5,. Block 3"'
Vickers Resubdivision and by 24th Street from a point even with the West

SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinanc
said lots., tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed
to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance here
