BLOCK E~ LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS~> FROM AN "R-lu TO A "C-2(1 ZONING DISTRICT SUBJECT TO CONDITION:.. WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as h e reinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendatio which was received by the City Council and after due consideration, the City Counc finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS~ all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pro vided by Article 10 llf~ Vernon's Annotated C~vil Statutes, amended in 19 61, and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on such proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing7 it was by the City Council determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in th manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance havin been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW, THERE- FORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 169 5 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO.. 13 46 Change a tract of land out of Section 8, Block E, Lubbock County,, Texas. from an "R-111 to a "c-211 Zoning District. Property is further described by metes and bounds to wit: BEGINNING at a point 282 feet east and 30 feet south of the north- west corner of the northeast one -fourth of said Section 8; THENCE South 145 feet; THENCE East 168 feet; THENCE North 145 feet; THENCE West 168 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.'' SUBJECT TO THE FOLI..:OWING CONDITION: That a 6t permanent type screening fence be erected and permanenUy maintained along the south and east property lines. Said fence to comply with Section 15. 1-2-2 of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinanc ~ said:lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance here with.
