AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE No.·· 1695 AND THE
OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING
CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO.l 1086-A: CHANGE A TRACT OF LAND OUT OF SECT! N
28# BLOCK E-2, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM AN 11C-211 TO A 11C-311 ZON
JNG DISTRICT; SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendatio
which was received by the City Council and after due consideration, the City Counc
finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public
interest; and,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment
to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving
notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordi nan.ce No. 1695 as well as notices
provided by Article 1011f, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1961, an
notice was duly published in the Lubboc k Morning Avalanche Journal more than fif-
teen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing according to said notice was
duly held in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock,
Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said
hearing, it was by the City Council determined that it would be in the public intere
due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordi nance and the Zonhg Map be amende
in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinanc
having been introduced in final written form prior to first r eading hereof; NOW
THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT. Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE an
the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO.l086-A
Change A tract of l and out of Section 28., Block E-2, Lubbock
County, Texas, from a "C-2" to a "C-3" Zoning district.
Property is further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 3 0' West and 3 or South of the Northeast
Corner of Section 28, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas;

SUBJECT TO THE FOLLQWING CONDITIONS:
1. That any Service Station building bonstructed be set back a
minimum of 65t from 5oth Street and 45r from Slide Road with
any Service Station pumps and/ or canopies located no closer
than 221 from 5oth Street and 11t from Slide Road.
2. That all uses and signs shall be those permitted in the 11C-211
Zoning District.
3. That all other conditions~ previously imposed by City Ordinance
4139~ shall apply on the remainder of the property.
SECTION 2. That from and after passage and effective date of this Ordi-
nance said lots~ tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be
changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accord
ance herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
