CITY OF LUBBOCK~ LUBBOCK COUNTY~ TEXAS .. FROM AN "R-1" TO A 'C-411 ZONING DISTRICT~ LIMITED TO A MOTEL AND "C-2" OR LOWER ZONE SES;: SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS: WHEREAS~ the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has een duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation hich was received by the City Council and after due consideration~ the City Counc · , \)\ inds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public l.V 1 { 'nterest; and, "" ~A---~ WHEREAS~ all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment o the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving otices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pro- ided by Article lOllf, Vernon1s Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1961, and otice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than ifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on uch proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly eld in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas, t which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing, 'twas by the City Council determined that it would be in the public interest, due to hanged conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in th anner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance havin een introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW. THERE- ORE. E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBCX:::K: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 169 5 and the Official Zoning Map BE and he same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO-13 20 Change a tract of land out of Section 9, Block JS, City of Lubbock~" Lubbock County, Texas, from an "R-111 to a "C-411 Zoning District, limited to a motel and 11C-2" or lower zone uses. Property is further described by metes and bounds to wit: BEGINNING at a point at the intersection of the North right-of-way_line of State Highway No. 29 0 and the East line of Section 9, Block J. s. _, being 65 feet north of the SE Corner of the Section, the SE Corner of this tract; THENCE s. 89° 56t W., along the north right-of-way line of State Highway No. 290~ a distance of 210 feet more or less to a point of curve in the NE right-of-way line of Loop No. 289~ a corner of this tract; I ~YT•il' -=-~~~~~~---------==----========---==========-----======----=~=======------==#==- _) v THENCE Northwesterly, along a curve to the right in said right-of-way line of Loop No. 289, which curve has a radius of 477 feet, a distance of 481.4 feet to a point at the end of the curve., a corner -of this tract; THENCE N. 32° 14t w. ~ along said right-of-way line of Loop 289~ a distance of 488.3 feet to a point of curve in the right-of-way, a corner of this tract; THENCE Northwesterly and Northeasterly, around the curve in said right-of- way line of Loop No. 289 ~ which curve had a radius of 207 feet,. a distance of 182 feet to a point of a curve in said right-of-way line, a corner of this tract; THENCE Northeasterly around this curve in the SE right-of-way line of Loop No. 2896 which curve has a radius of 5579. 65t, a distance of 1923., 1 feet to a point at the intersection of said right-of-way line and the East line of Section 9, Block J ·. S."l., the NE Corner of this tract; THENCE S. 0° 01 t E., along the East line of Section 9 .-. Block J. S~ ~ a distancE of 2515 feet more or less to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1.. That a minimum of 3 to 1 parking ratio be maintained. 2. That a building setback line of 1201 from Loop 289 and 19th Street and 6Qt from Frankford Avenue be observed. SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinanc4 ~ said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance here- with.
