BLOCK 1, GORDON-BOZEMAN ADDITION~ CITY OF LUBBOCK. LUBBOCK COUNTY~ TEXAS,. FROM AN "R-1" TO AN "M-1" ZONING DISTRICT: SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS. WHEREAS. the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made h s been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendati n which was received by the City Council and after due consideration, the City Council finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendme to the Zoning Ordinance a:td map have been fully complied with .. as well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pr - vided by Article 1 Ollf, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1953, and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Council on such proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held in the City Council Room on the second floor of the City Hall .. Lubbock, Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after aai hearing, it was by the City Council determined that it would be in the public inter due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amen in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinan having been introduced in the final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION~-THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 1227 Change Lots 9 and 10, Block 1, Gordon-Bozeman Addition, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an ''R-111 to an "M-1" Zoning District: SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 1. A 6' solid permanent type screening fence shall be constructed and permanently maintained in a safe and sound state of repair along the East and South property lines. A vision clearance triangle shall be formed by ending said fences at a point 25' from where the property lines intersect, then constructing said fences in a straight line between these points.. Said screening fence shall be completly constructed by the time the first building is constructed or placed on the property. -J - 2. The property shall be limited to a warehouse use only. SECTION 2. THAT from . and after passage and effective date of this Ord- inance said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance herewith.
