~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO .t PLA'CE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION (ZONE CASE NO. 908-A ) IN 3"'L, '( FIRE ZONE NO. 2; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.

"1 WHEREAS, The City Council finds that in all zone changes to the ncn Zone
Classifications that such property should be placed in Fire Zone No. 2 immedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates an emergency; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the following described property changed in zone by ORDI-
NANCE NO. 4386 , to wit:
That part of Block 111, MCCrummen's 2nd Addition, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, which is bounded on the north by 32nd Street, on the south by 34th Street,
on the West by Avenue Q, and on the East by Avenue P.
BE AND 'mE SAME IS Hereby changed and/or placed in Fire Zone No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office shall be amended in accordance herewith by the Building
Inspector or at his direction, and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1£.47 and Section 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 ot the Lub-
bock City Code, relative to fire zones.
SECTION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby suspended, and this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof, to take effect
immediately after its passage.
