D ~/ ~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE Fm.E ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK so AS TO
) PLACE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION (ZONE CASE NO. 1212 ) IN J 1 FIRE ZONE NO. 2; AND DECLARING AM EMERGENCY AND EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, The City Council finds that in all zone changes to the "C" Zone
Classifications that such property should be placed in Fire Zone No. 2 immedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates an emergency; NOW THEREF<liE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY mE CITY COUNCIL FO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. 1HAT the following described property changed in zone by ORDI-
NANCE NO. 4347 , to wit:
Lots ll, 12, 131 14 and the West 27' of Lot 151 Block 16, Hulin Heights Addition,
City of Lubbock, lubbock County, Texas
(Located at NE Comer Flint Avenue and 50th Street. )
IE AND 'JlfE SAME IS Hereby changed and/or placed in Fire Zone No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE MAP OF 'l'HE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office shall be amended in accordance herewith by the Building
Inspector or at his direction, and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. lt47 and Section 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 ot the Lub-
bock City Code, relative to fire zones.
SECTION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby suspended, and this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof, to take e.ttect
immediately after its passage.
