'WHEREAS, after receiving the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission anci

by Section 14-A of Zoning Ordinance 1695 of the City of Lubbock (sai<l Ord.inance being an
Appendix to the Lubbock City Co<le) relating to Specific Use Permits, the City Commission find.s
that ciue to changed. conditions it would be expedient and in the interest of the public health,
safety, morals, and general welfare to authorize the granting of a Specific Use Permit as
hereinatter set forth; and,
WHEREAS, this Ordinance affects the <laily operation of the Planning and Zoning Depart-
ments of the City of Lubbock.ll which creates an emergency; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDA:mED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1" The Director of Planning of the City of Lubbock is authorized to issue a
Specific Use Permit to the Applicant in Zone Case Noo 1206 in accordance with the recom-
mendations and conditions imposed by the Planning and Zoning Commission, on file in the office
of the Director of Planning, and the City Commission, which are hereby adopted. and incor-
porated. herein by reference tor all purposes, provided said Applicant agrees to be bound by
the terms of the Specific Use Permit, the granting of which is hereby made subject to com-
pliance by said Applicant with all terms of sai<l Specific Use Permit and further subject to
all provisions of Zoning Ordinance Noo 1695 of the Cit;r of Lubbock, including particularly
but not lillited to, Section 14-A thereof relating to Specific Use Permitso Provided. further,
that should sai<l Applicant fail to comply with the terms of this ordinance, and Sections
14-Ao4 and 14-Ao5 of Zoning Ordinance 1695, the City Secretary shall be and is hereby author-
ized and instructed, upon written notice from the Director of P.lanning that Applicant has not
complied with the provisions, conditions and terms imposed b.r this ordinance, to note Appli-
cant's failure to comply on the margin of the Minutes of the City Commission opposite entry
of this ordinance, and the authorization to issue such Specific Use Permit is hereb,r revoked;
and. the Director of Planning in such event is directed to remove fr<& the Zoning Map the
legend indicating such limited uae. The specific use authorized. by this ordinance is for

pursuant to Section 14-A.l-10 of the Zoning Ordinance and the property is located

SECTION 2o The Cit;r Secretar.y shall cause the publication of this Ordinance once a week
for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper regularly published in the City of Lubbocko
SECTION ). Since this Ordinance is an emergency measure for the reasons set forth in
the preamble hereof, the rule requiring two readings before final passage is hereb,y suspended,
and this ordinance shall take effect immediately after its passageo
