' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO
PLACE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CL.ASSIFICAT ION (ZONE CASE NO o ll94 ' ' . )
IN FIRE ZONE NOo 2; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND EFFECriVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Ca.Di.ssicm finds that in all zone changes to the ncn Zone
Clusiticaticna that such property should be p4ced in Fire Zone Noo 2 ilaedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates an eaergmcy; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION lo THAT The following described property changed in zone by ORDI-
NANCE NOo 4294 , to-wit:
A tract of land out of Section 16, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas:
A tract of land 99 1 wide by approximately 140 1 in depth and BEGINNING at a point
330' west and 269 ' north of theSE Corner of Section 16, Block B~ Lubbock County~ Texas
THENCE West 99 1 to a point for corner;
THENCE North 140 1 more or less to the south boundary line of 49th Street;
THENCE East along the south bo:undary line of 49th Street~ 99' to point for corner;
THENCE South 140 1 more or less to PLACE OF BEGINNING.
(Located on the South side of 49th Street about 280 1 West of Indiana Avenue.)
BE AND THE SAME IS Hereby changed alld./or placed in fire zane No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE ~IAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office .sh&ll be amended in accordance herew.itl... by the Building
Inspector or at his directicn, and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1447 and Section 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zoneso
SECTION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby' suspended, au.d this ordinance is declared to be an e.e~
