AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONING NAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO
PLACE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION (ZONE CASE NO. 1168 )
IN FIRE ZONE NO. 2; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND EFFECIIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINAI.,CE.
WHEREAS, the City Comissi011. finds that in all zoo.e changes to the ncn Zone
Claasificati<ns that such property should be pla,ced in Fire Zone No.. 2 baedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates an emergency; NOW THEREFORE:
BE rr ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE crrY OF LUBBOCK:
SECI'ION 1. THAT The followiug described propert7 chaa.ged iD :~one bJ ORDI-
NANCE NO o 4241 1 to-wit :
Lot 18, Block 30, Helm Subdivision, an addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas. (West of Avenue Q between Clovis Road and 4th Street)
BE AND THE S.AME IS Hereby changed and/ or placed in fire zone No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE ~tAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office shall be amended in accordance herewith by the Building
Inspector or at his directioo, and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1447 and Secti<D 16011 Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zmes~
SECTION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby suspended6 and this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
g~cy measure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof, to take effect
i.Dmediately after its passageo
