AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FmE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO
PLACE ffiOmtTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION (ZONE CASE NO. 1154 ) g IN FIRE ZONE NO. 2; AND DECLARmG AN EMERGENCY AND EFFECTIVE DAT& OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
!) WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that in all zone changes to the ncrr Zone

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF 'IHE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

SECTION L THAT The following described property changed in zone by CRDI-
NANCE NO. 4216 , to wit:
Two tracts of land out of Section 2, m.ock A, Lubbock County, Texas:
TRACT 1
BEGINNING at a point which is 2642.92 feet West and 1445.44 feet North of
the Southeast corner of Section 2, Block A, Lubbock County, Texas, said
point being in the west right-of-way line of Zenith Avenue;
THENCE N. 29• E. along the West right-of-wa_y line of Zenith Avenue a dis-
tance of 96.05 feet to a point of curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the left having a radius of 89.89 feet, delta angle
of 62° 31 1 48", tangent distance of 54.58 feet,chord distance of 93.3 feet for
a curve distance of 9$.10 feet to a point of compound curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the left having a radius of 15 feet, delta angle
of 90°, tangent distance of 15 feet for a curve distance of 23.56 feet to a
point of tangency in the Southeast right-of -way line of' Parkway Drive;
THENCE s. 56° 28 1 1211 W. along the Southeast right-of-way line of Parkway
Drive a distance of 150 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 100 feet;
THENCE N. 89° 131 401' E. a distance of 102.98 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
The above described tract contains 0.476 acres of land more or less.

point being in the West right-of-way line of Zenith Avenue;

of 29°, tangent distance of 36.60 feet, chord distance of 70.86 feet, for a
curve distance of 71.63 .feet to a point of tangency;
THENCE South a distance of 72.03 feet;
THENCE S. 89° 11' 49" w. a distance of 472.53 feet to a point in the South-
east right-of -wq line of Parkway Drive;
THENCE N. 56<> 281 12" E. al.ong the Southeast right-of-WS¥ line of Parkway
Drive a distance of 475.7 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 100 feet;
THEN<$ N. 89° 13 1 40 n East a. distance of 102. 98 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
The above described tract contains 1.462 aores more or less.

BE Am) THE SAME IS Hereby' changed and/ or placed in Fire Zone No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBOOCK11 duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office shall be amended in accordance herewith by the Building
Inspector or at his direction, and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1447 and Section 1601., Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zones.
SECTION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby suspended, and this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof, to take effect
immediately after its passage.
