ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City eo.i.ssiOil finds that in all ZCDe chmleS to the ncn Zelle
Classificatims that such property should be placed in Fire Zone .No. 2 iaaedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates an •eramcy; NOW THEREFORE:
BE rr ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK;
SECTION 1.. THAT The following described property changed in zone by ORDI-
NANCE NOo 4176 'f I 71, , to-wit:
Lot .3, Block 14, Merritt and Wild Subdivision, an addition to the City of Lubbock.,
Lubbock County, Texas, and the alley (Now closed by Ordinance) between Lots 2 and :3
of said Subdivision. (Located west of Waco Avenue am North of 4th Street.)
BE AND THE SAME IS Hereby changed and/or placed in fire zaoe No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office shall be amended in accordance herewit~ by the Building
Inspector or at his directicm, and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1447 and Sectioo 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Codei relative to fire zones.
SECTION 2.. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read an two readmgs before
final passage is hereby suspended6 an.d this ordinmce is decla.red to be an eme~
g~cy measure for the reasons set forth in the preuable hereof, to take effect
i.DDediately after its passage.
