, ~) WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that in all zone changes to the "0" Zone (o Classifications that such property should be placed in Fire Zone No. 2 .i.nllediately
to protect the lives, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of Lubbock which
creates an emergency; NOW THEREFORE:

direction, and this change shall constitute an amendment to Fire Zoning Ordinance No.
1447 and Section 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 of the lubbock City Code, relative to fire
zones.
SECl'ION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby suspended, and this ordinance is declared to be an emergency
measure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof6 to take effect immediate:q
after its passage.
