ORDINANCE NO. 4109
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1695 AND THE
OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING I CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 1077: CHANGE THE EAST 1/2 OF THE ORIGINAL
LOT 4~ BLOCK 30. CRUMP 5 ACRE ADDITION~ CITY OF LUBBOCK~ LUBBOCK-
COUNTY~ TEXAS~ FROM AN "R-1" :AND "R-3" TO A "R-3"• "C-2" AND "C-3"
ZONING DISTRICTS: SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation~
which was received by the City Commission and after due consideration, the City
Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be irl
the public interest; and.,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving II
notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices proviC
by Article 1011f, Vernon's Annotated Civl Statutes, amended in 1953, and notice
was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen {15)
days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on such
proposed amendment,. and the public hearing according to said notice was duly helcl
in the City Commission Room on the second floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas.,
at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing)
it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, j
due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended
in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinanc~
having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW
THEREFORE,.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Map BE and the
same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO. 1077
Change the East one-half of the Original Lot 4~ Bloc k 30, Crump
5 Acre Addition .. City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, as
follows:
1. Change the North one-half of the East one-half of the original
Lot 4 .. Block 30, Crump 5 Acre Addition to the City of Lubbock
from an "R -1" to an 11R -3" zoning district.
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION:
That a ratio of one paved off-street parking space and 1500 square
feet of lot-area be provided for each apartment unit.
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordi-
nance, said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be
changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accor-
dance herewith.
AND IT IS SO OHDERED.'
