AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO
PLACE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSD'ICATION . (ZONE CASE NO. 1045 )
IN FIRE ZONE NO. 2; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND IlFFECl'IVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City ~ssion finds that in all scme chances to the ncn Zcae
ClaasificatiCIIla that such property should be p4ced in Fire Zcme No. 2 ilaedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property ot the citis•s of the City of
Lubbock, which creates 111 eeraency; NOW THEREFORE:
BE rr ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT The followin& described property ohallged in zane by ORDI-
NANCE NOo 3965 1 to-wit:
East 125 feet of the south one-half of the west one-half of Lot 4, Block
30, Crump 5-Acre Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.
(Said property is located· in the vicinity of Avenue U and 50th Street.)
BE AND THE SAME IS Hereby changed and/or placed in fire zone No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCX" duplicate original located ill the Build-
ing Inspector's office shall be amended in accordance herewith by the Building
Inspector or at his directicn, and this change shall. constitute aD ameodwut to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1447 and Sectim 16011 Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zm.es.
SECTION 2. The rule requir:lng an ordinance to be read on two read.Jngs before
final passage is hereby suspended, aud this ordinance is declared to be an eaaer-
g~cy aeasure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof, to take effect
