OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING
CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 1038: CHANGE THE WEST 60 FEET OF LOT 196~
AND ALL OF LOTS 197, 198, 199 AND 200 MURRYHTI...rL ADDITION TO THE CITY
!OF LUBBOCK,. LUBBOCK COUNTY. TEXAS FROM uR-111 TO 11R-3u ZONING
DISTRICT; SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS:
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation
1 which was received by the City Commission and after due consideration, the City
Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in
the public interest; and,
I WHEREAS., all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment
to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving
jnotices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices
provided by Article 1011f, Vernon1s Annotated Civil Statutes~ amended in 1953,
and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than
•fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission
ion such proposed amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was
,duly held in the City Commission Room on the Second floor of the City Hall. Lubboc #
1 Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and~ after said
hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public
interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map
be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and
this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading
hereof; NOW~ THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 ~nd the Official Zoning Map BE and
the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO. 1038
Change the west 60 feet of Lot 196, and all of Lots 197,. 198, 199, and 200,
Murryhill Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an "R-1"
1to an "R-3" zoning district {Said property is located in the vicinity of 50th Street
and Memphis Avenue.) 1 SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
1. That one off-street parking space be provided for each
apartment unit.
2. That a six foot screening fence be constructed along the
north side of said property.
3. That a mini.mwn ratio of 1500 square feet of lot area per
apartment unit be provided.
4. That apartments only be constr~cted on the property.

SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance;
said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed
to the zoning district indicated a;lnd the Official Map is amended in accordance here-

AND IT IS SO ORDERED
