'---" ~~$ OFFICIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING
' CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 1032: CHANGE TWO TRACTS OF LAND OUT OF

\ AND "R·3" ZONING DISTRICTS:~~ AS INDICATED, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS.
WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation
which was received by the City Commission and after due consideration .. the City
Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in
the public interest; and,
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment
jto the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving
notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices
provided by Article !Ollfl' Vernonts Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1953, and
notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than
fifteen (15} days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission
on such proposed amendment., and the public hearing according to said notice was
duly held 'in the City Commission Room on the second floor of the City Hall., Lubboc ..
Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said
hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public
interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map

1be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and
this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading
hereof; NOW~ THEREFORE,·
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the
same are hereby amended as follows., to ... wit:
ZONE--CASE NO. 1032
TRACT A
Change a tract of land out of Section 6, Block E ... 2, Lubbock County, Texas,
said property is described by metes and bounds as follows;
BEGINNING at a point which bears 30 feet east and 565 feet north of the
,southwest corner of the Northeast One ... quarter of Section 6, Block E-2,
Lubbock County., Texas;
THENCE North a distance of 112 feet to a point of ~urvalure;
THENCE along a curve to the right having a radius of 15 feet, delta angle
of 90°, and a tangent distance of 15 feet for a curve distance of 23.56 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 271 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 127 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 286 feet to the point of BEGINNING···
from an "R ... l" to· an "R ... 3" Zoning District,
SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION:
THAT the property be developed in conformance with the revised site plan
as proposed, said plan being on file in the Office of the Secretary Of-the Planning
and Zoning Commission.
TRACT B
Change a tract of land out of Section 6, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas,
said property is described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point which bears 316 feet east and 565 feet north of the
southwest corner of the northeast 1/4 of Section 6, mock E ... 2, Lubbock County,
Texas;
THENCE North a distance of 127 feet which is the east boundary of Tract A,
described above;
THENCE East a distance of 138 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 127 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 138 feet to the place of BEGINNING,.
from an "R .... l" to an "R ... 2" Zoning District.
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinance~
said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed
to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in· accordance
herewith.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED ..
