AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING .ANJ? CLOSING THE EAST-WEST ALLEYS LOCATED IN BLOCK 11,
MADDOX ADDITION AND BLOCK 10, MADDOX ADDITION AS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE
BODY OF THIS ORDINANCEJ .AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MARK THE OFFICIAL MAP OF
THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO INDICATE THE CLOSING AND ABANDONMENT OF SAID EAST-WEST ALLEYS I AS AFORESAID.
WHEREAS~ the City Commiss~on finds that the East-West alleys, as hereinafter
more particularly described are no longer needed for alley purposes or for public

I WHEREAS, the City Commission finds it would ,be to the public intet.est to close
vacate and ap~ndon same for alley purposes and to public use; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKt
SECTION I. THAT the East-West alleys, as hereafter described shall be, and
the same are h~~epy clos~d, v~1ted and abandoned for alley purposes and for public
use; said tracts of land being more particularly described as follows, to-witt l
BEGINNING at the Northeast cor~ of Lot 3~, Block 11;
THENCE West along the North line of Lots 36 through 19,
of said Block 11, a distance of 450 feet to the Northwist
corner of Lot 19, Block 11 of said Maddox. Addition;
THENCE North 12.5'feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 18,
Block 11, Maddox Addition;
THENCE East along the South line o£ Lots 18 through 1, Block 11,
a distance of ,45°f~et to the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 11, l Maddox Addition}
THENCE South 12. 5 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing
5625 sq .. f~et.
BEGINNING at the Northeasf corner of Lot 11, Block 10,
Maddox Addition;
THENCE West along the North line of Lots 11 through 7 and
36 through 24,, B~ock 10, Maddox Addition a distance of 450~
feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 24, Block lOJ
