PLACE CERfAIN PROPWY IN FIRE ZONE NO. 21 WHICH PROPl!Rl'Y IS DESCRIBED IN A
SPECIFIC USE PERMr.r FOR A OOMMERCIAL USE IN ZONE CASE NO. : 908 ; DECLARING
AN EMFB.~CY AND Ii7FECl'IVE DMh; OF THIS ORD:INA:NCE.
WHEREAS1 the City C<Jadssian finds that in the &raAtins of all Specific
Use Permits for CC~mDercial uses· pursuant to Section l4A of Zanin& OrdiD.zce
No. 1695 of the City of Lubbock~ that property covered by· such Pel'lli.t should
be placed in Fire Zoo.e No. 2 to protect the lives 1 safety, aDd property of
the citizens of the City of Lubbock, which creates an •ergency; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECI'ION 1. THAT the following described property which is property de-
scribed in Zone Case No~ 9QS for which a Specific Use Pe~t for a ca.-
mercia! use is authorized by Ordinance No. , to-wit:

Building Inspector t s Office shall be amended in accordace herewith b;y the
Building Inspector or at his direction, and this chance shall constitute au.
amendment to Fire Zoning OrdinaDce No. 1447 and Section 1601, Part IV, Chapter
16 of the Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zon.es.
SECTION 2. The rule requir.ing au ordinance to be read on two readio.«S
before final passa«e is hereby suspended, and this Ordinance is declared to be
an em.ercency measure for the reasons set forth in the preable hereof, to take
