ORDINANCE NO. 3572
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO
PLACE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION (ZONE CASE NO.. 929 )
IN FIRE ZONE NO o 2; AND DECLMUNG AN EMERGENCY AND FFFECI'IVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.,
WHEREAS 1 the City COliiDi.ssion finds that in all zane changes to the "C11 Zane
Classifications that such property should be pJ4ced in Fire Zone No. 2 iaaedi-
ately to protect the lives, safety, and property of the cit~zens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates an emergency; NOW THEREFORE: 1
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECl'ION 1.. THAT The following described property changed in zone by ORDI-
NANCE NO.. 929 1 to-wit:
Lots 1 through 10 inclusive, Block 175, Original TO'Wtl.
of the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas. (Said
property being located on the west side of Avenue 0 in
the 1500 Block).
BE AND THE SAME IS Hereby changed and/or placed in fire sCille No. 2 and the
"FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
ing Inspector's office shill be amended in accordance hereWith by the Building
Inspector or at his directionJI and this change shall constitute an amendment to
Fire Zoning Ordinance No. 1447 and Sectioo. 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zcnes ..
SECTION 2. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on two readings before
final passage is hereby suspended, and this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereof, to take effect
