RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to accept for and
on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Public Street Dedication Certificate in connection with
certain real property located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Block B, Tyler Tap
Railroad Company Survey, Lubbock County, Texas and the Northwest Quarter of Section 12,
Block B, Indianola Railroad Company Survey, Lubbock County, Texas, to be utilized for
streets, public use, right of way, utilities, and other public purposes, and all related
documents. Said Dedication Deed is attached hereto and incorporated in this Resolution as if
fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the Council.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
This is to certify that LUBBOCK ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE, INC., also
known as Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, a Texas Not-For-Proft Development Corporation
formed pursuant to the Development Corporation Act of 1979 ("Dedicator"), is the owner of the following
described tracts of land, to-wit:
TRACT 1:
METES AND BOtJNDS DESCRIPTION of a 0.5284 acre tract out of a 61.3 acre tract described
under County Clerk File No. 2021006714 of the O� cial Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas,
located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Block B, Tyler Tap Railroad Company Survey,
Lubbock County, Texas, said 0.5284 acre tract bein� further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a"crosshatch" nail with washer marked "HRA" previously set in the North line of
said Section 2 and the Northwest line of the BNSF Railroad right-of-way (no document found), for
the Northeast corner of said 61.3 acre tract and this tract, which bears N. 88°29'48" W. a distance
of 309.75 feet from a railroad spike found at the Northeast corner of Section 2, Block B, Tyler Tap
Railroad Company Survey, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE S. 47° 11'OS" W., along said railroad right-of-way line, a distance of 61.55 feet to a point
for the Southeast corner of this tract, which bears N. 47°11'OS" E. &om a 1/2" iron rod with cap
marked "HRA" previously set;
THENCE N. 88�29'48" W. a distance of 513 31 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HR.A" set
in the East right-of-way line of East Loop 289, described in Volume 756, Page 447 of the Deed
Records of Lubbock County, Texas for the Southwest corner of this tract, which bears N. O l°30' 10"
E. a distance of 12.00 feet from a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HRA" previously set;
THENCE N. 01°30'10" E., along said East right-of-way line, a distance of 43.00 feet to a
"crosshatch" nail with washer marked "HRA" previously set in the North line of said Section 2 and
the Northern boundary of said 61.3 acre tract, for the Northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE S. 88°29'48" E., along the North line of said Section 2 and the Northern boundary of said
61.3 acre tract, a distance of 557.35 feet to the Point of Beginning.
TRA.CT 2:
METES AND BOiJNDS DESCRIPTION of a 0.0158 acre tract out of a 113 acre tract described
under County C1erkFile No. 2021006714 of the Official Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas,
located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Block B, Tyler Tap Railroad Company Survey,
Lubbock County, Texas, said 0.0158 acre tract being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a railroad spike found at the Northeast corner of Section 2, Block B, Tyler Tap
Railroad Company Survey, Lubbock County, Texas, same being the Northeast comer of said 113
acre tract and this tract;
THENCE S. O1°46'25" W., along the East line of said Section 2 and the Eastern boundary of said
113 acre tract, a distance of 20.00 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HRA" set for the
Southeast comer of this tract;
THENCE N. 88°29'48" W. a distance of 44.51 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HRA" set
in the East right-of-way line of a State Highway, as described in Volume 679, Page 428 of the Deed
Records of Lubbock County, Texas, and the Western boundary of said 113 acre tract, for the
Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N. 47° I 1'OS" E., along said right-of-way line and the Westem boundary of said 113 acre
tract, a distance of 28.63 feet to a"crosshatch" nail with washer mazked "HRA" previously set in
the North line of said Section 2, for the Northwest corner of said 113 acre tract and this tract;
THENCE S. 88°29'48" E., along the North line of said Section 2 and the Northern boundary of said
113 acre tract, a distance of 24.12 feet to the Point of Beginning.
TRACT 3:
METES AND BOUNDS DESCRIPTION of a 0.2802 acre tract out of a 4.34 acre tract described
underCounty Clerk File No. 2021006714 of the Official Public Records of Lubbock County, Texas,
located in the Northwest Quazter of Section 12, Block B, indianola Railroad Company Survey,
Lubbock County, Texas, said 0.2802 acre tract being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at a railroad spike found at the Northwestcorner of Section 12, Block B, Tyler Tap
Railroad Company Survey, Lubbock County, Texas, same being the Northwest corner of said 4.34
acre tract and this tract;
THENCE S. 88°29'48" E., along the North line of said Section 12 and the Northern boundary of
said 4.34 acre tract, a distance of 1.75 feet to a"crosshatch" nail with washer marked "HRA" found
at the Southwest corner of Section 6, Block O, East Line and Red River Railroad Company Survey,
Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE S. 88°39'02" E., continuing along the North line of said Section 12, the Northern
boundary of said 434 acre tract, and the Southern boundary of said Section 6, Block O, a distance
of 618.47 feet to a railroad spike found at the Northwest corner of a 4.3 acre tract described in
Volume 3030, Page 107 of the Real Property Records of Lubbock County, Texas, same being the
Northeast corner of said 434 acre tract and this tract;
THENCE S. 46°32'17" W., along the Eastern boundazy of said 434 acre tract and the Western
boundary of said 4.3 acre tract, a distance of 28.38 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HRA"
set for the Southeast corner of this tract;
THENCE N. 88�39'02" W. a distance of 59836 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HRA" set
for a point of intersection;
THENCE N. 88°29'48" W. a distance of 1.87 feet to a 1/2" iron rod with cap marked "HRA" set
in the West line of said Section 12 and the Western boundary of said 4.34 acre tract for the
Southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N. O 1°46'25" E., along the West line o said Section 12 and the Western boundary of said
4.34 acre tract, a distance of 20.00 feet to the P int of Beginning;
and the Dedicator wishes to dedicate said property t� the public for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN &� THESE PRESENTS: That for and in consideration
of the special benefits to the remainder of Dedicator's�roperty by the development of neighboring property,
the Dedicator does hereby DEDICATE the above �scribed property to the PUBLIC for PUBLIC USE
FOREVER, for public street purposes.
The dedication of this Street Right-of-Way � subject to any existing easements, rights-of-way or
other title issues which may apply to the above descabed Property prior to acquisition of said Property by
Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, Inc. as �videnced by instrument of record in Document No.
2023027695 of the Official Public Records of Lubb� ck County, Texas.
