AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Comm~ssion of the City of Lubbock finds it is
necessary to appropriate certain spec~fic funds out of bond funds for
an a~proved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation
of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency;
NOW~ THEREFORE•
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKg
There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond
fund, to-wit: Street Improvement Fund
THE sum S3t000
For the following purpose :
Witness, legal, and filing fees in connection with acq~ing
Loop 289 right of way and Major Street Improvements.
WHEREAS 9 an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule
requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meetings be dispensed with; and thi s ordinance shall bJ
effective from the date of its passage.
