LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS., FROM AN "R-2" TO AN "R-3" ZONING DISTRICT. (SAID PROPERTY BEING LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 21ST STREET AND MEMPHIS AVENUE.) SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: 1. THAT T DEVELOPMENT OF THIS PROPERTY BE SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE "DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS METHODIST HOSPITAL CLINIC AREA~ 11 ASAP:. PROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION. WHEREAS,. the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has b n duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation .. wh ch was received by the City Commission and after due consideration.. the City Commi - sion finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the pub c interest; an~ WHEREAS. all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with• as well as giving noti es in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices provided by Article 1011£,. Vernon1 s Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1953• and notice was duly publi_shed in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen (15) da prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on such propose amendment, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held in the Ci Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall,. Lubbock, Texas.. at which ti persons appeared in support of the proposal; and. after said hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest, due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in the manne hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance having been i ifj- troduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY GOMMISSJ:ON OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and th same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 883 Change Lots 1 through 5~ inclusive,_ Jim Floyd Addition to the City of Lubbock• Lubbock County, Texas. from an "R-211 to an 11R-3" zoning district. (Said property being located at the Southwest corner of the intersection of 21st Street and Memphis Avenue.) subject to the following condition: 1. That the development of this property be subject to compliance with the 11Development Standards Methodist Hospital Clinic Area~ u as approved by the Planning and Z orung C ommi s si on. SECTION 2. LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM AN "R-211 TO A "C-411 ZONING DISTRICT. {SAID PROPERTY BEING LOCATED BETWEEN AVENUES RANDS NORTH OF 20TH STREET). SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS: W HEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommen dation, which was received by the City Commission and after due consideration, the C ity Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS, all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendmen to the Zon~tig Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices prO:tid-ed by .. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE an the same a-e hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 884 Change Lots 5 through 12 inclusive, Block 1, Lane Sub- division of McCrummen Second Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an "R-211 to a "C-4" zoning district. (Said property being located be- tween Avenues R and S North of 20th Street}. Subject to the following condititions: 1. That five feet be dedicated for street widening purposes along the West, South and East sides of the property con- sidered by this case prior to second reading of an Ordinance effecting the change in zoning. 2. That the owners and/or developers shall make applica- tion for and secure a building permit within ten months after the date of final passage of this Ordinance. SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordin ance said lots, tracts, and parcels of land described in Section 1, hereof shall be changed to the zoning district indicated and the Offi.cial Map is amended in accor- dance herewith.
