BLOCK z, MURPHY PLACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK111 LUBBOCK COUNTY-. TEXAS, FROM AN "R-1" TO AN 11 R-3" ZONING DISTRlCT. (SAID PROPERTY BEING LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 21ST STREET AND MEMPHIS AVENUE).; SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONe 1. THAT THE DEVELOPMENT OF TillS PROPERTY BE SUBJECT TO COM- PLIANCE WITH THE "DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS METHODIST HOSPITAL CLINIC AREA11 AS APPROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION. WHEREAS. the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has een duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommenda~on hich was received by the City Commission and after due consideration, the City Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and, WHEREAS. all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving no- tices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices pro- vided by Article 1011£1 Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes. amended in 1953~ and jl!:Otice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing bei>re the City Commission on such proposed amendment~ and the public h:earing according to said notice was duly held in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall~ Lubbock, [ exas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and,. after said hearing., it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public nterest., due to changed conditions. that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map e amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and •this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW THEREFORE• BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSI.ON OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and th same are hereby amended as follows. to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 814 Change Lots 9 and 10, Block 2, Murphy Place Addition to the City of Lubbock• Lubbock County~ Texas,. from an "R-111 to an "R-3" zoning district. (Said property being located at the North- east corner of the intersectinn of Z1 st Street and Memphis Avenue.) Subject to the following condition: 1. That the development of this property be subject to compliance with the 11Development Standards Methodist Hospital Clinic Area" as approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission. SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordinanc said lots111 tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance herewit • AND IT IS SO ORDERED Passed by the Commission on first reading this 8th day of December , 1960. 1960.
