AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS ~ the City Com~ssion of the City of Lubbock finds it is
necessary to appropr~ate certain specific funds out of bond funds for
an approved project , and this ordinance deals with the daily operation
of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKg
There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond
fund, to-wit: Stree t Improveme nt Fund
THE sum S 42,750.00
For the following purpose~
Acquire Parcels 1-1, 1-2, lA-1 through lA-5, Idalou Road
from Orvill S tandefer by condemnation proceedings. Award
was $42,500 plus $250 for filing and legal fees.
WHEREAS 9 an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule
requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be
effective from the date of its passageo
