FORM L-2 o9 -oe-1 9l00 ORDINANCE NO. 3251 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock f.inds it is necessary to appropriate certain spec1fic funds out of bond funds for an a~proved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW 1 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK~ There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond fund, to-witg Street Improvement Fund THE sum S11,300.00 For the following purpose; Acquire Parcel 49, Loop 289 from CCC Corporation and Clawson Building Company by condemnation proceedings. The award was $11, 186 plus $114 for legal and filing fees. WHEREAS 9 an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this ordinance, the enactment of th1s ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate commission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be effective from the date of its passage. Verified by: -~~l~Xl.L·~--?;:;~::::;.::=-:::';..;:;:--'"\ FinanceofiiCer' c FIELD NOTES Parcel 49, Loop 289, CCC Corporation A parcel of land out of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 4, Block E-2, conveyed to CCC Corporation by deed dated December 4, 1958, and recorded in Volume 735, Page 1?9 of the deed records of Lubbock County, Texas, and being more partic~rly described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the West boundary line of said Northeast one-quarter and the South right of way line of a farm-to-market road, said point being 60 feet South and 2637.5 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Section 4; THENCE Easterly along said right of way line ?35.6 feet to a point; THENCE in a Southwesterly direction along a circular curve to the left, the center of the curve being South 0°01' West, 215 feet from the beginning of the curve, a distance of 117.3 feet to a point; THENCE South 58°46' West, 628.3 feet to a point; THENCE South '53°03' West, 108.7 feet along a line parallel to and 150 feet southeasterly from the centerline of a proposed freeway as established l in the !ie~d by the Texas Highway Department, to a point in the West boundary line; THENCE Northerly along said West boundary line ~22.3 feet to the place of beginning and contains 3.196 acres.
