AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FIRE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO
PLACE PROPERTY CHANGED IN ZONING CLASSIFICATION (ZOliE CASE NO. 843 )
IN FIRE ZONE NO. 2; AND DnARING AN .IMERGENCY AND EFFECfiVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Caai.ssicn finds that in all zcne chan~~:es to the "C" Zcne
Classificatims that such property should be placed in Fire Zone No. 2 ialedi-
ate1y to protect the 1ivea, safety, and property of the citizens of the City of
Lubbock, which creates aD emergency; NOW THE.RWORE:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SEcriON 1. THAT the following described property changed in zCDe by ORDI-
NANCE NO o 3163 1 to-wit:
BEGJNNING at a 1" iron pipe which bears north 54.2 feet and
north 45° 57' east a distance of 386 feet from the southwest
comer of Section 3~ Block A, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE north 45° 571 east a distance of 141 feet;
THENCE north 41° 05' west a distance of 100 feet;
THENCE south 65° 53' west a distance of 52.2 feet;
THENCE west a distance of 45.8 feet;
THENCE south 31° 17' west a distance of 14 •. 6 feet;
THENCE south 44° 031 east a distance of 25.7 feet;
THENCE south 45° 571 west a distance of 50 feet;
THENCE south 44° 03' east a distance of 120 feet to the place
of begjnning.
(Said property being locat~d at 304 Idalou Road).
BE AND THE SAME IS hereby changed and/ or placed in fire sa::Le No. 2 and the
11FIRE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK" duplicate original located in the Build-
in& Inspector's office shall be aaeo.ded in accordance herewith by the Building
Inspector or at his directim, and this change shall cmstitute an 8Jilendaellt to
Fire Zooing OrdiDauce No.. 1447 md SectiCD 1601, Part IV, Chapter 16 of the
Lubbock City Code, relative to fire zoues.

final paasage is hereby suspe11ded, ud this ordinance is declared to be aD eaer-
