AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO~ 3143
WHEREAS 9 the City Comm:1.si:u.on of the City of Lubbock finds it is
necessary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for
an a~proved project , and this ordinance deals with the daily operation
of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency ;
NOW~ THEREFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond
fund, to-wit: Street Improvement Fund
For the following purpose:
Purchase Parcel 1, Clovis Highway , f r om Tremar co Corporation.
WHEREAS 9 an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance , the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule
requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meeti ngs be dispensed wi th ; and this ordinance shall be
effective from the date of its pass age~

to the present right-of-way line extending from the east property line to

to the City of Lubbock, Texas, according to a plat recorded in vol. 444,
page 210, Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, which Block 1 was conveyed
to Tremarco Corp. by a deed dated 4 Mar. '57, of reocrd in vol. 650, page 597,
Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, which 0.038 of one acre of land is
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
