Acquire Parcel 18A, B, C Clovis Rd. - 05/12/1960FORM L-2 os-t~-19<c0 ORDINANCE NO ~ 3133 AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE WHEREAS ~ the City Comm~ssion of ~be City of Lubbock finds it is necessary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for an a~proved project~ and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency; NOW"~ THEREFORE 9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK~ There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond fund , to-wit: Street Improvement Fund THE sum 12,000.00 For the following purpose: Acquire by condemnation Parcel 18A,B, & C, C~ovis Road from J. D. Prather and others. D. Prather 0.029 of one acre of land, being a strip of land 10.0 feet in width lying parallel to the present right-of-way line extending from the east property line to the ~st property line and being a part of Lots 11 thru 15, Block 2, Marlin Park Addi tion, to ~e City of Lubbock, Texas, according to a plat recorded in vol. 414, page 617, Deed Records, Lubbock County, Texas, which Lots 11 thru 15, Block 2, were conveyed to J. D. Prather by deed dated 19 June '58, of record in vol. 697, page 499, Deed Records, Lubbock County, Texas, which 0.029 of one acre is more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: PARCEL "A" BEGINNING at the northern most corner of said Lot 11; THENCE S 56°49' E, 25.0 feet to the eastern most corner of said Lot 11; THENCE S 33°11' W, 10.0 feet along the southeast boundary line of said Lot 11, to a point; THENCE 'N 56°49 1 W, 25.0 feet, to a point in the northwest boundary line of said Lot 11; THENCE N 33°11' E, 10.0 feet b the place of beginning and contains o.oo6 of one acre.
