ClAL MAP .OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CHANGE: ZONE CASE NO. 838: CHANGE LOTS 11" lZ~ AND 13, SOUTH 'EAST HEIGHTS ADDITION AND LOTS ·7 AND 8,_ OVERTON SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 34• SUBURBAN HOMES ADDITION~ BOTH BEING ADDITIONS TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK"' LUBBOCK COUNTY:. TEXAS. FROM AN "R-211 TO A 11C-411 ZONING DISTIUCT. (SAID PROPERTY BEING LOCATED IN THE 4200 BLOCK OF AVENU A); SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: 1. THAT FIVE FEET OF PRO- PERTY BE DEDICATED FOR ALLEY PURPOSES ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE PROPERTY CONSIDERED BY THIS CASE• WHEREAS, the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission f~r its recommenda- tion, which was received by the City Copunission and after due consideration• the City Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public inte:re st; and,. :' WHEREAS,. all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with. as well as giving notices in compliance with Section 20011 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices provided by Article 1011£, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes~ amended in i953,_ land notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche Journal more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Com- mission on such proposed amendment~ and the public hearing accorc;ti.ng to said notice was duly held in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall~ Lubbock~ Texas, at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and• after said hearing1 it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest1 due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW~ THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the same are hereby amended as follows. to-wit: ZONE CASE NO.o 838 Change Lots 11, 12, and 13,. Southeast Heights Addition a.Rd Lots 7 and 8~ Overton Subdivision of Block 34,. Suburban Homes Addi- ~ .v . tiona both being additions to the City of Lubbock• Lubbock County, Texas. from an "R-2'' to a "C-411 zoning district. (Said property being located in the 4200 Block of Avenue A~: Subject to th~ following conditions:l 1. That five feet of property be dedicated for alley purposes along the West side of the property considered by this case. . . . ·; SECTION 2.
