AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds it is
~ecessary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for
an approved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation
of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency;
NOW~ THEREFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond
fund, to-wit: 1956 Street Improvement
THE sum S 888.-
For the following purpose~
Purchase of a 10 foot strip of land off Lots 16, 17 1 & 18,
Bloc~ 2, Marlin Park Addition to the City of Lubbock from
T.L. Gol dston. GWO 10155.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
~rdinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
~mergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule
requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be
~ffe ctive from the date of its passage.
