f Blocks 18 and z3 of the Country Club Addition, City of Lubbock~ dedicated and
c./) 7 cf/1ri shown by plat7. recorded in Volwne 155 Page Z47 of the Deed Records of Lubbock
rl -County~ Texas and as hereinafter more particularly de scribed are no longer neede (ph~for alley purposes or for any public use; and,.

WHEREAS• the City Commission finds it would be to the public interest to
close,. vacate and abandon such alleys for alley purposes and to the public use;
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the HT 11 alleys in Blocks 18 and Z3 of the Country Club
Addition as per plat recorded in VolUine 155 page Z47 of the Deed Records of
Lubbock County~ Texas by and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned
for alley purposes and for public use,_ said tract of land being more particularly
described as follows11 to-wit:
That portion of the alleys in said Blocks 18 and Z3
as above described lying and being situated East
and West of the right-of-way lines of the United
States Highway No. 87 as reflected by the replat
of Blocks 18 and Z3 of the Country Club Addition
a plat. of which is recorded in Volwne 415 Page
610 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County,. Texas.
SECTION z. THAT the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
1 mark the official map of t;he City of Lubbock to indicate that the alley as described
in Section 1 hereof~ has been closed and abandoned, showing the nUinber of this
ordinance and the date of its final passage.
AND IT IS SO ORDERED
