FROM AN "R-111 TO AN "R-2.11 ZONING DISTRICT• {SAID PROPERTY II / r BEING LOCATED IN THE 32.QO BLOCK OF 33RD STREET); SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: THAT ONLY ONE DUPLEX BE CONSTRUCTED ON THE TWO LOTS CONSIDERED BY THIS CASE. WHEREASa the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendation~ which was received by the City Commission and after due consideration~ the City. Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out will be in the public interest; and,. WHEREAS_. all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment ' to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as givin~ notices in compliance with Section 2.0 of Ordinance N~ 1695 as well as notices provided by Article lOll£• Vernonts Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 195311 1 and notice was duly -published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commissi~n on ·such proposed amenchnent, and the public hearing according to said notice wa ! duly held in the City Commission Room on th_e fiJ;"st floor of the City Hall, Lubbock, Texas>1 at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and after said hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest., due to changed conditions~ that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and the same are hereby amended as follows. to-wit: ZONE CASE NO• 813: Change Lots 2. and 3,_ Block 3-. Westminister Heights Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, from an 11 R-l" to an 11R-2.11 zoning district. ·(Said property being located in the 32.00 Block of 33rd Street); Subject to the following conditions: That only one duplex be conatructed on the two lots considered by this case. SECTION 2.. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Ordin ce said Lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be chan ed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance herewith.
