be in the public interest; and,
WHEREAS.., all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment
to the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been· fully complied with, as well as giving
notices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices
provided by Article lOll£~. Vernonts Annotated Civil Statutes, amended in 1953,
and notice was duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen
{15) days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on ;.)
such proposed amendment~ and the public hearing according to said notice was
duly held in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall, Lubboc~
Texas, at whi:ch time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said
hearing, it was by the City Commission determined that it would-be in the public
interes~ due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map
be amended in the manner hereinafter set forth in.. the body of this Ordinance and
this Ordinanee having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading /

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE
and the same are herb!Jy amended as follows,, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO,; 795
Change Lots 10 and 111 Block 3, Westminister Heights
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
from an 1!R-111 to an 11R-211 zoning district. (Said property ..--· ..J
bein_2 located (l.t 32.19-21 33rd Street). Subject tQ the following condition•: That only one duprex be constructed on the two 11:5ts
considered by this case.
SECTION z. THAT from and after passage and eifective date of this Ordi-
nance said lots tracts and parcels of land de!:#Utibog :j.n Section 1 hereof shall be ' , . changed to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accor-
dance herewith.
