AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC. 11A-920F THE "CODE OF ORDINANCES,
CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS" THE SAME BEING THE ELECTRICAL CODE,, SO A
TO PROVIDE FOR THE LOCATION AND HEIGHT OF METER SOCKET INSTALLA
TION ON EACH BUILDING, RESIDENCE OR OTHER STRUCTURE; PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR TinS ORDINANCE•
WHEREAS.., the Board of Electrical Examiners of the City of Lubbock
has heretofore approved and submitted its written suggestion that the Electrical
Code of the City of Lubbock be amended as appears in the body of this Ordinance;
and,
WHEREAS~ the City Commission finds it necessary and expedient and
in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Lubbock that the Electrical
1 Code be amended; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTIONl l. THAT Sec. llA-9Z of the .Code of Ordinances, City of ·
Lubbock, Texas, BE and the same is hereby amended to read hereafter in full
as follows, to-wit:
, "Each meter socket installation should be on the outside.

SECTION z. The City Secretary shall cause this ordinance to be
published once a week for two consecutive weeks in a newspaper regularly
published in the City of Lubbock, and this ordinance shall become effective
10 days after its last publication.
