jnotices in compliance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. 1695 as well as noti-ces pro ...
vided by Article 1011£, Vernon~s Annotated Civil Statutes7 amended in 1953;t and
notice wa~ duly published in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15)
days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission on such ~~proposed amendment, ·and the public hearing according to said notice was duly held
in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Hall~ Lubbock, Texas,
at which time persons appeared in support of the proposalj and, after said hearing,
it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest,.
lldue to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amende
,,in the manner hexieinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Ordinance
having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW.,,
THEREFORE~
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: I
I SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and
the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO.o 803
Change the following described property, to wit:
BEGINNING At a point, said point being 929. 29 feet
we.st and 40 feet South of the Northeast corner of
Section 6, Block,-2, Lubbock County., Texas;
THENCE South 36°06t East for a distance of 165.68
feet to a point;
THENCE South 53°54t West for a distance of 182. 70
feet to a point;
THENCE North for a distance of 241. 51 feet to a point•

THENCE East for a distance of 50 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING~ from an 11R ... l 11 to a uc ... 4tt zoning
district.

Street); SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITION:
That the owners and/or developers shall make application
for and secure a building permit within ten months after
the date of final passage of this Ordinance.,
SECTION 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of thi;s
Ordinance said lots, tracts, and parcels of land de scribed in Section 1~ hereof
shall be~-ehanged to the zoning distriG:t indic:z-ated and the Official Map is amended
in accordance herewith.
