FORM L-2 ORDINANCE NO. 2835 --------AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds it is
necessary to appropriate certain specific funds out of bond funds for
an approved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation
of Ci.ty departments in the public 'interest which creates an emergency;
NOW~ THEREFORE ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the following described bond
fund, to-wit: Water Bond Funds
THE sum S lO,OBJ.OO
For the following purpose:. Construct water main in the following locations:
1. 6" water line in Wlanut Ave . frcm Broadway to 8th Street.
2. 6n water line in Walnut Ave . from 6th St. to 4th St.
3 . 8" water line in 54th St . from Orlando to a point 6BO feet "est of
Orlando.
4. Dry stub to the East of Orlando from 50th St. to 54th St.
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
~rdinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule
requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meetings be dispensed wi th; and this ordinance shall be
3ffe ctive from the date of its passa ge .
