AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds it is
~ecessary to appropriate certai n specific funds out of bond funds for
an approved project, and this ordi nance deals with the daily operation
of Cj.ty departments in the public ·interest which cr eates an emergency;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby appropriated out of the followi ng described bond
fund, to-wit; Par k Bond .Fund
THE sum $ 5,000.00
For the f ollowi ng purpose~ Architectural services on11M\Ulicipal Garden and
'
Art Cent er11 • (5.% of estimated construction cost
of $90,000.00)
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
!mergency meas ure thereby creating a public necess ity that the rule
requiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meetings be dispensed wi th; and this ordinance shall be
~ffective from the date of its p assa ge.
