CIAL MAP OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING

V ~~"VV~I WHEREAS. the proposed change in zoning districts as hereinafter made has
yv Jl\1 been duly presented to the Zoning and Planning Commission for its recommendati
/\I.Ao"''t rfr' which was received by the City Commission a~d after due consideration~ the City
· I"' Commission finds that making the proposed change as hereinafter set out in the
public interest; an~
WHEREAS~ all conditions precedent required by law for a valid amendment to
the Zoning Ordinance and Map have been fully complied with, as well as giving
notices in compliance with Section 20 or Ordinance No. 1695 as well as notices
provid~d by Article lOllf;~ Vernon1s Annotated Civil Statutes» amended in 1953, a
notice was duly publiehed in the Lubbock Morning Avalanche more than fifteen (15)
days prior to the date of the public hearing before the City Commission O.,:t such
proposed amendment,, and the public hearing according to said notice was duly hel
in the City Commission Room on the first floor of the City Ha112. Lubbock~ Texas,
at which time persons appeared in support of the proposal; and, after said hearing.
it was by the City Commission determined that it would be in the public interest~
due to changed conditions, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map be amend d
in the manner hereinafter set forth in the body of this Ordinance and this Or~nanc 1
having been introduced in final written form prior to first reading hereof; NOW
THEREFORE~>
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT Ordinance No. 1695 and the Official Zoning Map BE and
the same are hereby amended as follows; to-wit:
ZONE CASE NO. 769 .
Place the following described property in the Permanent rrR-111 Zoning Distric a
to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point, said point being 150 feet South of the
Northwest corner of Section lO;t. Block E-2, Lubbock County;t
Texas;
THENCE East parallel to and 150 feet South of the North line
of Section 10, 11, and 12 of said Block E-2 to a point, said
point being 2640.8 feet West and 150 feet South· of the North-
east corner of said Section 12, Block E-2;
THENCE North 150 feet to a point, said point being in the
North line of said Section 12,. Block E-Z;
THENCE East along the North line of S~ction 12:~. Block E~2
and Section 4, Block E~ ·Lubbock Countyt. Texas., to a point,

Said property has been annexed to the City of Lubbock by
Ordinance No. 2535 and is in the temporary "R-111 zoning
district. (Said property is located South of 66th Street
between Slide Road and Avenue P) •.
SECTI~N 2. THAT from and after passage and effective date of this Orclinanc~
said lots, tracts and parcels of land described in Section 1 hereof shall be changed
to the zoning district indicated and the Official Map is amended in accordance here
with.

Texas authorized a zoning hearing to deter.mine the per.manent zoning
to be established on the following described property 1 t~wit:
