AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS. the City Commission of the City of Lub bock finds it is
~ecessary to appropri ate certain specifi c fu.nds out of bond funds for
an approved project, and this ordinance deal e with the daily operation
of Ci.ty departments in the public 'interest which createiS an emergency;
NOW, THEREFORE, .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
There is hereby apprppri ated out of the following described bond
fund, to-wit :
1956 Street Improveo ent Fund
THE sum $1000
For the following purpose::
C}].ange utility lines~-·. and other expences in connection ·
with opening up 29th Street across the Panhandle ~nd Santa
Fe Railway Company.
WHEREAS, an emergency existiS as shown in the preambl e to this
~rdinance, the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an
~mergen cy measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule
requiri ng proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate
commission meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance shall be
3ffective from the date of i ts passage.
