WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City o.f Lubbock finda lt le nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific fund• out of bond funds for an ap•
proved project, and this ordinance deals with the daily operation of City de•
partments in the public interest which creates an emergencyi NOW, THERE•

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble to this
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer•
gency measure thereby creating a public necea.aity that the rule re-
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (~) separate com-
mission meetings be disp.ensed with; and this ordinance shall be effec•
tive from the date of its passage.
