HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2024-R0142 - Property I.D. 136990, 5127 Woodrow Road, Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) - 03/26/2024Resolution No. 2024-R0142 Item No. 5.43 March 26, 2024 RESOLUTTON WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock received a petition, attached hereto and incorporated herein, for the release of an area from the City of Lubbock's extraterritorial jurisdiction (the "ETJ") in accordance with Sections 42.102 & 42.104 of the Texas Local Government Code (the "Code"); WHEREAS, the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock has verified the petition and notified the petitioner of such in compliance with Sec. 42.105 of the Code; and NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT pursuant to Chapter 42, Subchapter D, of the 1'exas Local Government Code the City Council hereby releases the area described as Property I.D. R136990 by the Lubbock County Appraisal District, otherwise known as 5127 Woodrow Road, from the City of Lubbock's ETJ.
