WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finda lt la nee•
essary to appropriate certain specific: fund• out o.f bond fundi for an ap•
proved projectt and this ordinance deals with the dally operation of City de•
partnlents in the public interest which crea.tea an emeraency; NOW• THERE•
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:

For the following purpose:
Te purch~se 0.044 acres ef land frem the Tech Meme~l Park en West 19th Street
fer Leep 289 right •f way fer $300 plus $10.00 filing fees
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the prea.mble to this
ordinance. the enactment of this ordinance is declared to be an emer-
gency measure thereby creating a public neceaaity that the rule re•
quiring proposed ordinances to be presented at two (~) separate com•
mission meetings be dispensed with; and this o.rdinance shall be effee•
tive from the date o! its passage.
